Both work. Pick the one you will actually keep
Sessions are weekly and one to one either way. The homework between them is the same, and so is being reachable by text when something comes up mid-week.
People assume in person is the serious option and the phone is the compromise. In nearly thirty years I have not found that to be true. The thing that predicts whether this works is whether you keep showing up, so choose the format that makes showing up easy.
The coaching is the same in both: trauma-informed, whether the pressure comes from a career or a sport.
