Questions people ask first
If yours isn't here, put it in the questionnaire.
How long does this take?
As long as it takes, and I'd rather say that than sell you a number. Some people work with me for a couple of months and are done. Some stay for years. Some finish, disappear for a while, and come back when the next season starts. What I won't do is put you on a countdown and call it a transformation.
Is this therapy?
No. Therapy treats diagnosed conditions and works backwards through the past. Coaching works forwards from where you are. If what you need is therapy, I'll tell you on the first call and point you somewhere good.
What does trauma-informed actually mean?
That I understand how past experience shapes present behavior, and I won't push you through something you're not ready for to hit a milestone. It's a way of working, not a treatment.
Do I have to have had something terrible happen?
No. Most people I work with are successful and stuck, and can't point to one event. That's normal and it's workable.
Can we do this remotely?
Yes. Roughly half my clients are on the phone. In person is available in Palm Beach County.
What if I don't know what I need yet?
That's common enough that the questionnaire starts with it. Five questions about where you are and what's getting in the way, and we'll work out together whether this is the right thing, or whether something else would serve you better.
See how I can help you
Fill out the questionnaire. If I think you’re a good fit, I’ll get in touch. If I don’t think I can help, I’ll point you to someone who can.
